Her parents were Nathaniel Davis and Elizabeth Atkins. She married Stephen Terry and their last Virginia residence was in Botetourt County. Their children were: Nathaniel Davis Terry, Drucilla Terry, Bennett W. Terry, and John Alfred Terry. In 1819 Sarah and the three younger children removed to Barren County, KY, joining Nathaniel Davis Terry. Sarah died in 1840. David Walthall who listed this query in 1999 is my cousin. We descend from grandsons of Sarah Davis Terry. There were multiple Stephen Terrys in Virginia at this time. Two in particular, Stephen who married Sarah Davis, and Stephen who served in the Revolution, are said to be cousins. This may be where your date issue arises. Rena, what am I missing on this birth register websites? Most of the pages that I have opened start out with FATHER'S OCCUPATION, but no name of the father or child. Are these births of slaves or all births?
