    3. Are you aware that one of these URLs takes you to Ancestry, to a page that wants you to take a "free trial" sample membership. The other takes you to a site to purchase a CD. Perhaps well worth it, but... When I go to a URL from a genealogy page, I don't want to be directed to a commercial site - and you can't get much more commercial than Ancestry. 1. TRIBBLE surname
    2. Gerre Byrd
    3. I have just come across some info indicating there were TRIBBLEs in Botetourt Co., VA. Can anyone fill me in on that which might be relevant to an Elizabeth TRIBBLE born abt 1740 give or take a few years. She would have left the area and gone to live in Montgomery Co., PA with her husband, Philip ENGARD. Or, perhaps there is a Catherine Elizabeth who would have been born very early 1700's. Thank you for checking. Gerre Engard Byrd

    1. Adams/Miller marriage in 1700s
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/GBC.2ACI/1083 Message Board Post: I am looking for information regarding a marriage between the daughter (Jean?) of an Andrew Miller and John Adams (b. ca. 1730 Ireland). I have seen an Andrew Miller listed on the 1783 Middlesex County, VA tax list, and have recently been given information that there was an Andrew Miller in Botetourt County, VA in 1770. It was this same information regarding Botetourt that gave me the name Jean as the Miller daughter. I only know of one child of John and Jean Miller Adams: John Adams, who married Rhoda Johnson of North Carolina. The Adams line eventually came to Johnson County, Tennessee. If anyone is familiar with this Adams/Miller connection, I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks bunches! Lisa
