First known reference is the Bedford Co Marriage bonds, http://www.rootsweb.com/~vabedfor/bedf-m_b.htm Jun. 8, 1843; Demarquis Buford, (or Bauford) & Mary Ann Haynes, dt Edmund; William Haynes, Surety. I also know he after Mary Ann Haynes Buford died Aug 1, 1852 he married Lethia Ann Hardesty Dec 12 1854 in Washington Co, KY I don't know Demarquis parents, where he as born (some say Bedford Co approx 1820) or where/when he and Lethia Ann died.
