Bedford Order Book 1-A 13 August Court 1754 A recantation from Jester Cox to John head is exhibited in Court by William Mead and proved by the oath of Page 13. John Richardson, and on the motion of the said William Mead, the same is a admitted to record. Thomas Snow having obtained an attachment against the estate of Samuel Watkins, and John Currie, Constable of this County having returned that he had executed the said attachment on the one rifle gun of the estate of the said Samuel Watkins, and the said Samuel Watkins did not appear, whereupon the said Thomas Snow made oath that the sum of 1 £ 11 shilling:; and 3 pence was justly due to him from the said Samuel. Watkins. Therefore it is considered by the Court that the said Thomas Snow recover against the said Samuel Watkins, the said 1 £ 11 shillings and 3 pence, and his costs.
