I am looking for parents, siblings and children of Job Martin who was married to Elizabeth Huddleston.. I have a copy of papers from his Revolutionary Pension files. In an Kanawha county VA (now WV) affidavit he states "born on the 11th of April 1753 - am a native of Pennsylvania, but arrived to Bedford County Va in my 17 the year of age. In March 1776 I enlisted in Bedford county under Capt Henry Terrill for two years. Job Martin died 1839 in Kanawha County, VA (now WV). He married Elizabeth Huddleston - does anyone know when or where? She is named in Job's will and in her father's will. In Bedford County, VA I find following marriages - _http://www.rootsweb.com/~vabedfor/bedf-m_m.htm_ (http://www.rootsweb.com/~vabedfor/bedf-m_m.htm) Job Martin came to Bedford County, VA in 1770. Sep. 28, 1797; Harris Standley & Rachel Martin, dt Job and Elizabeth; Joseph Martin, Surety. (He would have been 44 years old in 1797 - Rachel Martin could be his daughter.)
