    3. Fern--I am not sure it is indexed. It is available full-text through HeritageQuest but there is no indication of an index being published with the volumes. Each has a table of contents but, again, I see no indication of an index for any/all of them. If you tell me what you are looking for I can check. I did not see any Bufords, Earlys, etc as the main names for which charts are given but they may be embedded in names I did not recognize. If any of you wants to use Heritage Quest it is available lots of places; the Godfrey Library in CT used to include it in their membership but the contract has expired. The Family History Centers have it I think and probably your local library does--check with them for access. We live in rural NC and I was amazed and overjoyed to see that the Library Division of NC buys a subscription for public libraries. I can access the info from home by using the global password for our county that I got when I registered at the library. For those of you who belong to the NE Genealogy and Historical Society [think that is close] they also offer access through a membership to their society. If you are not familiar with it--do check your local library--LOTS of great info to include full-text books, all the censuses [although not all are indexed completely yet] plus access to PERSI, a database of genealogy periodicals produced by the Allen County [IN] Public Library. judy arnn-knight Fern wrote: > Does anyone on this list have the Index for the 4 volume set of books entitled "Some Prominent Virginia Families" by Louise P. du Bellet?? > > Thank you, Fern > > > ==== VABEDFOR Mailing List ==== > To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send a message containing ONLY > the one word "unsubscribe" to [email protected] > Leave the subject line blank or use the word unsubscribe. > > >
