Thank you Beverly, but my William Martin lived until 18 Dec 1894 when, after drinking in Charleston, he somehow fell off his horse and drowned in the Elk Two Mile creek. He was found with his head in the creek. I have a very small article about it from a Charleston newspaper, plus some info from my husband's Uncle Virgil. It wasn't in the article, but my husband's uncle said that the horse came home without him and that's how they knew something was wrong. Thank you anyway!
