"This day came Katherine Nichols before us Justices of the Peace for the County of Bedford in the state of Virginia, and made Oath on the Holy Evangelist of the Almighty God, that she has known James Ayres of this said county of Bedford from his Infancy, and that he was born in the County of Prince George in the State of Maryland, and that he is the son and Heir of James and Dinah Ayres of the said Prince Georges County in Merryland.
