I also have family in TSRO. Old Samuel Love Sr., believed to be son of Joseph Love and Mary Teas was early into that area. Have little on him - some on his parents, some on his children. His obit was in the Knoxville newspaper in 1826, saying he was "..an old and respected citizen...." but not much else. No family information. He was a widower when he remarried in 1822 to Mary Smith, who I believe is related to the Nathaniel Smith who was an important figure in the area. This group came out of Virginia, Augusta, Orange and possibly Wythe counties. JG
Interesting as this Loves -Teas is a DNA MATCH to the Researchers of Hudson Johnson of 1776-1780 Henry County, and to the Descendants of Michael Johnson died 1718 on Tuckahoe Creek in Henrico County Va. The first know Travel Pattern of the Loves Tea's is in PA per the researcher that filed his DNA with the DNA CENTER Tony ----- Original Message ----- From: Genealogy Bug<mailto:[email protected]> To: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> Sent: Friday, August 04, 2006 7:40 AM Subject: [VABEDFOR] Genealogy in TSRO I also have family in TSRO.
