I am working on some special prices for motels & B&B's in Bedford for the Geneaology Gathering. As soon as I get confirmation, I will post on the list. We have a wide array of restaurants in Bedford now. Old Liberty Station on Bedford Avenue is my favorite. There is the Bedford Social Club on South Bridge St. The Bedford Restaurant on 460 W (1 mile from city limits) is an old time favorite as well as Goodes Country Cooking (460E). The Gingerbread Cafe, the Duchess of Bedford Bakery & Tea House, Forks Country Restaurant are in the city limits. Of course we have some chain restaurants....Applebee's, Ruby Tuesday, Huddle House, Hardee's, Wendy's, Arby's, McDonalds, & Subway. We also have two Mexican restaurants now. All these are in town except as noted above. Don't forget that Bedford is the home of the National D-Day Memorial and if any of you have a chance to go there, it is well worth the trip.
