Tom & Diane offer a wonderful "made from scratch" breakfast with superb accomodations. The Inn on Avenel is just a few block from Centertown Bedford. You I can offer a personal statement about the Inn. My wife and I stayed there for last year's Genealogy Fair. It is a wonderful B&B, the house is great, the breakfast is a work of art and the hosts are great fun. I even found some helpful info on my family in one of the many books they have on hand. Space is limited and, as I recall, there is a shared bath with a marvelous old claw-foot bathtub in which to luxuriate. Mike Beard Washington, DC

A great place to eat in Bedford is the Old Liberty Station - for dinner or lunch (not open on Sundays). Their food is out of this world - we were there for our anniversary last year, and we were there about 5 years before that, and the food and ambience was still great!!!! It's not the most inexpensive place to eat, but it's nice. (And their cheesecake is to die for). Kathy
