    1. [VABEDFOR] Old Books on Google
    2. Edwin "Tex" Irvin
    3. One more time--- Google has many hundred of old books digitized online in their entirety. Just go to google.com Up top you will see the little "more" arrow. Pull that down and click on "books." If you click "full view", you will see entire, complete books. "Limited view" will show you books that have only certain pages that are viewable. You can type whatever you want into the little search box up top. Under "full view" type in "genealogy" and you will get 50 pages of old publications pertaining to genealogy. Or type in History of Virginia, or Kentucky, or Sketches of, or Family Histories, Or Notes from, or any other guidance, and you will be able to read many goodies. To the lower right, after you open a book you want to search, there is usually another little search box. Type in your surname and pages will pop up where the name is mentioned. Or you can turn the pages with your scroll button. Don't ignore the limited view. You may get lucky. And if they do not have a certain book, they will tell you where you can buy it or which libraries have it. Google is a great resource, but remember, most of these old publications are very flawed. Always find collateral proof. Edwin
