Bonnie, I have a Sarah (Sally) Coppedge, born abt. 1783 in Amherst, married John Odgen of Amherst Co. in 1804. John died in Bedford County in 1870. I think her father was W.L. Coppedge. This is really all I have, my line is the Odgen. Don Hill and others Thanks for Coppedge info. My Mary Coppedge Dameron married Bennett K Stansell, 1828, in Newton Ga. The Damerons had drifted from Va and NC into Georgia. Very little known on Coppedge.
