    3. This site is a gold mine. http://www.vgs.org/publications.htm You can only view the indexes at this site for some of the issues. Not the whole text. You can buy each issue from the Historical Society. But better still, if you are a subscriber to ancestry.com you can view the entire text for the first 40 issues. Anything after 40, you will have to buy. Click on "additional information" to see the indexes of the later issues. Then you can decide if you want to buy one. Click on the ancestry link to view the first 40 issues. But remember, you have to be a paid subscriber to see those. Ancestry has a great little search engine that saves you from searching each issue. Here is a sample I found in another format that I hope you can open. . http://www.stevendenney.com/uploads/BEDFORD_COUNTY_VA_TAX_RECORDS.pdf This is a fragment of the very early Bedford titheables and insolvents. Where the rest of them are is anybody's guess. I notice that issue 44 has more Bedford tithes. And issue 41 speaks of the Cubb Creek settlement. I will have to buy them. It never ends. My wife will probably kill me. Edwin
