John died in Whitley Cty Ky in 1838. and was married in 1779. It is said his first wife's name was Rachel ??? Can someone find me an Anderson living to 102 there and also a Wife for John!! I have a Jacob Anderson of Bedford Co or at least of Bedford when he died, but I do not have his siblings. Actually, I should restate that. I have siblings for Jacob Anderson, but not a John. His father was George Anderson, as far as I know, born perhaps in Scotland, married a widow whom I believe was the widow Ann (Perhaps nee Hargrave) , widow of a Mr. Cofer, who appers in Alexandria, then died, leaving one son, Thomas Cofer- raised by George Anderson. the children I know of for George Anderson and wife, Ann(e)] were Joshua Sarah (my line) 1729-abt 1770 m Jeremiah Early Jacob (also my line) (1740/41-1827) m. Mary Calloway 1759 George (abt 1740-1788) m. Mary Read(e)/Reed Elizabeth m Nathan Underwood Martha "Patty" m Henry Dooley Anna m Mr Beasley Its quite possible there was a son, john, but if so, I don't have any information. ON the chance that perhaps he was a brother of Jacob or a 1/2 brother by another wife, I figured I"d toss it into the pool.....
