I am doing some research on a Moore family that lived in Bedford in 1860. The had a Mary A. Ayres and Lynch M. Ayres living with them so I wonder if this was a 2nd marriage for the lady. Littleberry Overstreet and Mary Higgins of Bedford County Va had these known children. Source Record Group Records of the Veteran Adm. D C At time of the Act Sept 1850 there were three minor children to wit: Samuel (P, H, K or something else as fancy script), Mary J, Martha Ann. Charles ( H or A fancy script) was guardian. Benjamin Thomas the other son was not mentioned, however, on his death cert. is listed Berry and Mary as parents. Death date of Littleberry Oct 24, 1847 Bedford County Va. Mary Higgins Overstreet died Bedford Va., July 3, 1848. Bible record that Martha Ann Overstreet, born, Feb 1, 1837.
