Elizabeth Ann MOORMAN was born on 7 Jul 1815. She married Eldred H. ROBINSON on 19 Sep 1833 (bond 16 Sep 1833) at Bedford Co., VA. She died on 8 May 1848 at Bedford Co., VA, at age 32 ("May 9, 1848, read the burial service over the remains of Mrs. E. Robinson"). --- 2nd Generation --- 2. John Hope MOORMAN was born on 13 Nov 1783 at Bedford Co., VA. He married Virginia Elizabeth JOHNSON, daughter of Joseph E. JOHNSON and Agatha MOORMAN, on 12 Jul 1806. "On that day (or the following) the parents of John H. gave a wedding dinner and invited all their friends, and made the occasion a farewell reception, as most of the family were soon to remove to Ohio. John H. and Betsy remained in Virginia, though they were Quakers. They lived at Clay's Crossing, Bedford County, seven miles from Lynchburg. John H. was an agent for the book, The Life of Thomas Jefferson, and took a wagon train conveying a large number of the books to Ohio." He died on 29 Aug 1862 at age 78. --- 3rd Generation --- 4. Micajah MOORMAN was born on 28 Aug 1735 (28 6mo 1735). He married Susannah CHILES, daughter of Manoah CHILES and Elizabeth (--?--), on 13 Oct 1754 at Caroline Co., VA. His will was dated on 25 Nov 1806 at Campbell Co., VA, and proved 12 Jan 1807. He died on 26 Nov 1806 at Campbell Co., VA, at age 71. --- 5th Generation --- 16.
