She died on 8 May 1848 at Bedford Co., VA, at age 32 ("May 9, 1848, read the burial service over the remains of Mrs. E. Robinson"). --- 2nd Generation --- 2. John Hope MOORMAN was born on 13 Nov 1783 at Bedford Co., VA. He married Virginia Elizabeth JOHNSON, daughter of Joseph E. JOHNSON and Agatha MOORMAN, on 12 Jul 1806. "On that day (or the following) the parents of John H. gave a wedding dinner and invited all their friends, and made the occasion a farewell reception, as most of the family were soon to remove to Ohio. John H. and Betsy remained in Virginia, though they were Quakers. They lived at Clay's Crossing, Bedford County, seven miles from Lynchburg.
