I am seeking information on a Whittington family who lived in Bedford County in the mid-1700s. A Thomas Whittington was born in 1740 in London, England and died in 1831 in Bedford County. He married a Martha (no last name known) in 1760 in Bedford County, VA The descendents of this particular Whittington family migrated to what is now Putnam County WV in the early 1800s.
