Recently there was a posting about getting the book, "OUR KIN - Bedford County Virginia Families" republished. Our computer has been playing tricks on us and for some reason our e-mail in-box just wiped itself out, so I can't give you the e-mail address of the man who sent the posting. I have a borrowed copy of this book and I am encouraging everyone with ties to Bedford County to buy this book if it is republished. It is a wealth of information. I found numerous other family surnames that tie into my family through this book. When I opened this book, it was like someone just dumped a load of information in my lap. The names and dates were there and all I had to do was verify them. I very much enjoy the research process, but when you are "given" so much great information, it leaves more time to work at breaking down the brick walls that we, as genealogy hobbyists, run into. Hopefully the gentleman who did the posting about republishing the book will post it again and give EVERYONE with ties to Bedford County the opportunity to get a copy of this valuable resource. In the meantime, if anyone would like for me to look up anything in the copy that I have, please let me know. I have been so fortunate in what has been shared with me by other researchers on the 30 family lines that I am doing, that I am most willing to help others in their efforts. Dana E.
