Hi Libby, I'm glad you got back to me. Some of the FREEMAN's have gone to NC,GA,TX,Ks,CA,& etc. They're everywhere. Sorting them out is the puzzle. The only info I have on the Parker's is my GGGRandmother Sarah Parker married William Freeman on Oct.28,1798 in Bedford, VA. My Sarah (PARKER)FREEMAN was born Abt. 1779 in Pittsylvina, VA, died 1860 in Lawrence, Ohio. I believe Sarah's dad's name was John and had a brother David. Sarah Parker-William Freeman had the following children: Mary 'Polly' b. 1800 David Parker Freeman b. 1802 married on July 20, 1889 Nancy Martin Elizabeth Freeman b. 1810 George Parker Freeman b. April 21, 1811 in Pittsylvina, VA m.Aug 28, 1838 to Rebecca Brubaker, other spouse: Harriet (Ballard) Smith William D. Freeman b. 1814 married on May 29, 1842 in Lawrence, Ohio Mary A. Bowen Moses Alfred Freeman b.1819 Sarah Freeman b. 1819 *Note: Moses Alfred Freeman, was a soldier in the Civil War; he enlisted in 1862, in Ironton, Ohio, He was wounded in the Battle of Gettysburg and died later in Washington,DC (1864) his body was buried on his farm in Fayette township, OH. As you can see, 2 of her sons had PARKER for their middle names. Also, they must have lived in Pittsylvina, VA from the time they were married (1798) until around the time William was born in Ohio, sometime between (1811 -1814). As you know Sarah Parker's husband William FREEMAN ( born Abt 1775) was the 3rd son of John FREEMAN of Bedford,VA who had 15 children.
