Samuel Huff married Sarah "Sally" Hix in Bedford, I have the marriage but nothing else. Samuel was came Roanoke Co., but I don't know if he was born there or not. As they were married in Bedford I assume she was from there. Her father was John Hix and she had siblings: William; John,Jr.; Betsey b abt 1767. Sarah was b.abt 1753. Does anyone have any information about her mother and any other siblings, whom they married and where they went? Stephen Hail, Sr. and Nancy Ann Arthur md. abt 1769 prob. in Bedford. Would like some proof one way or the other. Stephen was born in Bedford ca. 1742/47 to Francis and Adara Hail. Stephen and several siblings were born in Bedford but information I have is all Abt. dates. Can anyone fill in. To my current knowledge, siblings were: Richard b abt 1733 d bef 28 Jun 1784; Elizabeth b abt 1739; Mary b abt 1741; Stephen b ca. 1742/47 d 27 Feb 1815 Pulaski Co., KY; Lewis b Nov 1742 d 2 Jul 1802 Grayson, VA; Ruth b abt 1742; Ushley b abt 1745; Mourning b abt 1747. Could use some help figuring these out. Would like to know where these children went too. Would also like to know of parentage and siblings for Nancy Arthur. Stephen and Nancy's children were also born in Bedford, but again I only have Abt dates. Help needed there also. Children were: Thomas b abt 1770; Saborn b abt 1772; James Lewis b 1772; John b abt 1774; Sarah "Salley" b abt 1775; Stephen, Jr. b abt 1776; Susannah b abt 1776; William b abt 1780; Laban Larkin b abt 1782; Benjamin b abt 1784; Anna b abt 1786. Stephen Hail, Jr. md (1) Susannah, abt 1799 prob. in Bedford, but no proof. They had one child: Christopher, and it is presumed Susannah died. Anybody have any info on Susannah??? This couple was shown in Marriage Records in Pulaski Co., KY as the mother of all of Stephen's children, but he married Polly Moody 19 Dec 1803 so Christopher was the only child of Susannah and he was born 20 Jan 1800 in VA. Was he born in Bedford??? He died 14 Dec 1879 in Pulaski Co., KY. Many thanks to those who have helped in the past
