My husband's great-great-great uncle Jerry Bell CAMPBELL served in Company C of the 42nd Virginia Infantry from Bedford County (although he enlisted at Orange County). Jerry had two brothers, John W. and William P. John was younger than Jerry so he probably wouldn't have served in the War, but I am trying to find out if William could have served.
