HI List I am researching the BROWN, STONE, HEREFORD/HURFORD and DIXON surnames in Bedford Co. Specifically Daniel BROWN and Hannah HEREFORD/HURFORD anc children Sarah, Joseph, Elizabeth and Samuel and Sarah Elizabeth STONE d/o Marshall STONE and unknown. Possible parents of Hannah are Jessie HEREFORD & Becky DIXON or Samuel HURFORD and Rachel DIXON. Samuel BROWN and Sarah STONE were m in 1818 and settled in the Saline Co., IL area probably. Samuel BROWN died in MO around 1860 and in 1877 most of the BROWN children and families went west to the Olympia, WA area, where most of them are buried. I probably have the wrong first name for HURFORD (someone gave it to me and I'm not sure of it). They were Quakers at the Goose Creek Meeting Hall. Any more info?
