I am looking for information/ancesors of John BOBLETT/BOBLETZ b. ca 1799 in VA. He is listed in 1850 Washington Co., KY census with children: Harriet 30, John M. 25, James A. 23, David C. 21, & William G. 18. If I am following the correct John, he was indentured twice in Bedford Co., VA. Once in 1802 and again in 1807. His mother is listed as Katy Boblett/Bobletz on both documents. There is a marriage bond in Bedford Co. for John Boblitz & Sarah Hooven 20 Feb. 1816. John's son, James was born 1828 in Bedford Co. according to his marriage bond to Elizabeth Pamelia Simms Boblett (she married James' brother Henry first) in Washington Co. KY.
