Lemira Lambert, b. ca. 1822 in Virginia, married John Yates Snead on 18 Nov 1839 in Bedford County VA. On 17 Apr 1843, John Y. Snead acted as surety for Sarah Ann Lambert, who married Paul Clay. Sarah Ann was shown as the daughter of Mrs. Susan W. Lambert. It seems reasonable to me that Lemira and Sarah Ann were sisters, and the daughters of Mrs. Susan W. Lambert, who probably was widowed before Sarah's marriage in 1843. Lemira and John Yates Snead moved to north Texas prior to the start of the Civil War. They're both buried in Paris, Texas.
