I have tried for several weeks to get information as to who the father of my Abram "Abel" Gross is. Abram b 1825 in Va. died Dec.30,1870 in Bedford., m 6 Oct 1851 Bedford Co., Va. to Lydia St.Clair born abt 1832 Bedford. Abram died Dec 30 1870 . One source has that Henry Gross and Margaret Cooper are his parents but Family Tree Maker has his parents as Isaac Gross and Elizabeth Lamb. Does anyone know anything about either family. Are Abram and Isaac related. Who are their siblings? Lydia had several children after Abram's death, my grandfather for one, I would like to know if she remarried. Lydia's father is William St.Clair and Elizabeth Atkinson. I have plenty of info on the St.Clairs but not much on the Gross family or their children. Hope someone can help me.. Thanks.
