Hello Bedford Researchers, I have the following line that seems to come to an abrupt end. Is there anyone who can shed some light on this line of Fuqua's? William L., Vergie and Ollie all lived in Bedford all their lives. Ollie Ruth is my grandmother and was a private duty nurse in Bedford for years. I don't know much about Vergie, except that she raised one of her neices, Lille Florene Bragg, d/o Lillie Ruth West and Houston I Bragg. Whitefield West, b. 7 Mar 1832, d. 5 Jul 1928; m. 1867, Florilla Wood b. 7 Jul 1849, d. 26 Jan 1893. William L. Fuqua b. 18 Sep 1859, d. 15 Apr 1934; m. 27 Jan 1892 Vergie West, b. 7 Apr 1874, d. 16 Oct 1962.(d/o Whitefield West and Florilla Wood) Ollie Ruth Fuqua (d/o William L. Fuqua and Vergie West) b. 11 Nov 1892, d. 22 Sep 1979, m. 19 Jul 1916 Richard Nathaniel Corbitt , b. 3 Mar 1892, d. 23 Jun 1929. William L. Fuqua, Vergie West and Ollie Ruth Fuqua Corbitt Mitchell, are all buried at the Mentow Baptist Church Cemetery in Huddleston Va. Any information will be greatly appreciated. Pat Corbitt Johns
