Can anyone, familiar with the Bedford Area, tell me who George Whitefield Fuqua's father and mother were. George Fuqua lived for years just at the top of Little Otter Hill on Old 460, now 221, on the right if you were going to Bedford from Lowry. I am a direct descendant of his and I am trying to extend this Fuqua Line. My Grandmother Bessie L. Markham of Lowry, Virginia was George Fuqua's niece. Bessie's Mother was Sally Fuqua Lowry, who lived at Center Point, where the Hobacks lived after the Lowry Family moved to Roanoke. Sally's husband was J. D. Lowry. Thank You, Thomas Markham
