Hello Bedford researchers, I accidentally deleted the message from a Mr. Wills regarding Ivy Hill in Bedford county, but here goes, anyway... I do not have any information on the Wills family but "Ivy Hill" is shown on my Bedford County Historical Map as being located in the eastern section of the county, just north of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church and not far from Poplar Forest, the Jefferson estate. It's just north of the Lynchburg Road and near the old Radford place. I'm very familiar with this neighborhood, as I had an aunt who lived in this area for many years, but can't recall the specific house at this time. There is an Ivy Creek shown nearby. The Radford family still lives on their old homeplace. Is there a picture or description of Ivy Hill? I still have numerous cousins in Bedford county who may be familiar with the home if it is still standing.
