Looking for information on Andrew Allen. At this point, all I know is that Andrew ALLEN married Lavina Roberts in March 1823 in Franklin County, VA and William Allen posted the bond for him. I don't know if William ALLEN was father, brother or even cousin. I'm not even sure if Andrew and Lavina lived in Franklin County at the time of their marriage so I'm checking other nearby counties. Andrew and Lavina eventually settled in Illinois where they had a son in 1841 named Joseph Sidney Allen. There were probably other children born before Joseph. Do these names ring a bell with anyone? Does anyone have a connection with Andrew ALLEN or Lavina ROBERTS? Does anyone have any ideas on where I can check for more information? Thanks in advance for any help. Mary Allen
