I am looking for information on John Boblett/Bobletz. He was born 1799 in VA and I found indenture papers in Bedford Co. VA for him in July 1802 to William Saunders and again in August 1807 to John Deardoff. On both papers it mentions his mother Katy Boblett/Bobletz. There is a marriage bond for John Bobletz to Sarah Hoover on 20 February 1816. He shows in 1820 Bedford census and then in 1830 in Mercer Co., Ky. and goes to Washington Co., KY. I am looking for his ancestors. I don't know if Katy was married to a Boblett or if she was a Boblett. Both indenture papers were by the Order (?) of the Poor. John had at least one child born in Bedford Co., James Boblett, that married Elizabeth Pamela Simms in Washington Co., KY. Would like any information/ancestors on this Boblett/Bobletz line and will gladly share any information I have.
