John Yates SNEAD (1818-1892) married Lemira Jane LAMBERT (ca. 1822-?) on 18 Nov 1839 in Bedford County, VA. They moved to north-east Texas before the Civil War, and are buried in Paris, Lamar County, Texas. John Yates was the son of Moses Snead and Martha Marshall Yates; I don't have Lemira's parents tracked down yet. Is anyone else researching the SNEAD or LAMBERT line in Bedford County?
