I have a Joseph THOMAS, born Bedford Co VA abt. 1765 per 1850 Census of Lee County Virginia. Does anyone know of a Joseph THOMAS in Bedford Co VA around 1800 +/- ? I 1850 Joseph was blind, 84 years old, living near to George S. THOMAS and he had a couple of persons in his household -- Living with him were Mary [born 1808] and Pleasant [born 1840].
