SOURCE: "A Guide to Virginia Militia Units in the War of 1812" Bedford County (10th and 91st Regiments) BRIGADE: 12 DIVISION: 1 Regimental Command: 10 Lt.Col Wm Dickerson Maj. James Ayers Maj. Littleberry Leftwich Regimental command: 91 Lt.Col. David Saunders Maj. Thomas Sale Maj. Jabes Leftwich -------------------------- Most of the Bedford County units served in Norfolk and around Richmond under a number of special units. -------------------------- COMPANIES: Capt. Mark Anthony Lt.Wm. Campbell Capt. Joshua Early Lt. Nicodemus Leftwich Capt. Pleasant Goggin Capt. John P Gray Capt. Wm Green Capt. Willi Jones Capt. Jesse Leftwich Capt. James Leftwich Cpt. Walter Otey Lt. Wm Settle Bedford County soldiers also served under Capt. John Myers' Company in the fifth Virginia Militia - Mason and Preston. There are three Captain Christians' listed in:Guide to VA Milita Units Captain Jones R Christian of New Kent and Charles City Captain William A Christian of Northampton Captain William A Chhristiaan of New Kent and Charles City One of these may be a clue to your Anthony Christian's participation. I did another lookup in: "Virginia Soldiers in U.S. Army 1800-1815" FIVE CHRISTIANS LISTED: Charles W.
