I appreciate having the list of surnames listed regularly. Thank you. I thought I would take this opportunity to mention again my MORGAN from Bedford County. Perhaps someone out there will recognize something to help out!! My PETER N. MORGAN was born @ 1814 in Bedford Co. VA. He, along with members of his family, traveled from Bedford County to Meade County, KY sometime about 1840. There were a number of Morgans and Morgan related families (related surnames) on the wagon train. It took them about 2 months to reach Meade County. I believe that my Peter N. Morgan was a son of Morgan Morgan Jr. who married Sally Vaughn on 22 of September, 1806 in Bedford Co. I know that at least two of their daughters were along on the trip. It seems that Morgan Morgan Jr. was deceased at the time of the journey. The daughters ( and I believe, a son, my Peter N. Morgan) were accompanied on the journey by William Morgan who was a brother of Morgan Morgan Jr. I would appreciate hearing from anyone who is related and/or is searching the MORGAN name in Bedford Co.
