For convenience, I am sending this response to the Bedford County, Virginia, and Wright mailing lists as well. 1850 (year of death) Tommey Wright of Bedford County, Virginia (place of death) was born about 1763 or between 1760 & 1764 at Virginia and probably at Bedford County. He married Synthia Mayse on December 15, 1785, at Bedford County, Virginia, resided in Bedford County, and died on July 14, 1850, at Bedford County, Virginia. Tommey and Synthia had the following children: 1. John Wright, born 1787/1788, 2. Elizabeth (Wright) (Woodcock) Meador, born c. 1790, 3. Mary (Wright) Mayse, born c. 1791, 4. James Wright, born April 13, 1792, 5. Joel Wright, born March 25, 1797 or 1799, 6. Jubel Wright, born April or May 1802, and 7. Nancy (Wright) Chapman, born c. 1806 or 1807. 1850 Tommey Wright of Bedford County was a son of 1803 John Wright of Bedford County, Virginia, and Elizabeth (Pate) Wright. Synthia (Mayse) Wright was a daughter of 1795 James Mayse of Bedford County, Virginia, and Marey (_____) Mayse. 1803 John Wright of Bedford County, Virginia, was a son of 1763 Thomas Wright of Bedford County, Virginia, and Mary (_____) Wright. Elizabeth (Pate) Wright was a daughter of 1782 Anthony Pate of Montgomery County, Virginia, and Sarah (probably English) Wright.
