Jacob WHITE married Mary (or Mariah) ALLEN. Jacob died in Bedford Co., Va. about 1802. The widow, Mary, married John LAFOY and had one child from this marriage, Lavina, who married Hendrick NICHOLS. I am trying to determine if the following were children of Jacob and Mary: Byrd WHITE, Jacob WHITE, Thomas WHITE, John WHITE, Nancy WHITE, James WHITE, and Docia WHITE. Docia married Aquilla MOLEN/MOLDEN in 1802 in Bedford. Nancy WHITE married James ALIFF in 1813 in Bedford. William ALLEN's name seems to be mentioned several times in connection with this family. Bedford Court Order Book 22, p. 123 dated 28 Aug 1828, names the children of the William ALLEN who was a Rev. Soldier. Mary's name was not shown.
