The DAR chapter has completed one book on local Bedford county History and is working on the second to be published next year. The first covers areas in the central part of county and the second will cover the remainder of the county. The book is availible at The Bedford City/County Museum 305 E.Main St. Bedford, Va. 24523. It is $35. plus postage. This bokk has some genealogy information and gives history of each old post office. The Museum has a number of Bedford County Books available.
