I am looking for information on the Brown Family of Bedford Co. James Henry Brown Born Jan.14, 1840, Goode's Crossing, Bedford Co.- Married Joannah Padgett Born Mar 29, 1850, Bedford Co. Parents of Joannah Padgett were James Andrew Padgett and Lucinda (Lucy) Goodman. James Henry Brown served in the Civil War and listed in the 28th. Virginia Infantry were several other Browns, Henry B. - Samuel E. and William M. all of Good's Crossing. My records indicate the James Henry Brown's parents were James Brown and Martha Fisher.
