    2. Hi Francis! In Eakley, Barbara Brown, "The Browns of Bedford County:1748-1840, she references the following: [No Joshua or Thomas HAMILTONs, no LINNs or HATFIELDs.] page 23: "David was the son of James Brown and his wife Jinnet. He and his siblings were named in their father's will dated Dec 3, 1789, and recorded Jul 26, 1790. (Bedford WB 2:35)" You may want to look at this will. There are 8 pages of references to a James Brown; eight to a Jeanet/Jenet/Jennet/Jinnet; five to a Janet/Jannet. I am researching the families of James and Jennet BROWN who came from Pa. by way of Amherst Co., Va.; Adam and Isabella LINN from Pa.; Joseph CRAIG and Martha LINN; Joshua HAMILTON and the Thomas HAMILTON family from Maryland; and any HATFIELDS who may have been in Bedford County. These families were in Bedford County during the 1760-1805 period. I would like to exchange information with those working on these lines. Thanks, Francis C.
