I am interested in corresponding with anyone interested in and/or working with the Morgan family of Bedford County, Va in the late 1700s to early 1800s. I have an ancestor, Peter N. Morgan, born (@ 1814) in Bedford Co., who came with a wagon train of relatives into Meade Co. KY @ 1830. >From a written source passed down, there wagon train is said to have spent a couple of months somewhere in WV while one of the women on board had a child. I have been unable at this time to sort the family out even though I do know that some of those on board were married in Bedford Co. as I have found the marriage dates. One of the women on board is said to have been a daughter of a Morgan Morgan, Jr. He seems to have been deceased at the time the group came into Meade Co. She is said to have come to Meade Co. with her guardian, William Morgan, who seems to have been the brother of Morgan Morgan Jr. Will trade what information I have at present. Marilyn Garrison
