VA and are listed in 1850 census with these children: Josiah A. 15, William J. 12, Mary J. 11, James P. 9 ( killed in civil war) , Charles Madison 7 (my ggrandf.) , Sarah E. 6, Lucinda T. 5, Peter 4, Susan R. 3, Martha A 1. From 1870 census Samuel E 18. LOOKING FOR PARENTS OF THOMAS SHELTON There are several of same name, however I have not found this one who married and had the above children. Birth place unknown. Charles Madision Shelton and brother Peter, married sisters from Lee Co; Cornelia and Marium Napier. All replies welcomed! :-) Deborah
