Looking for information on the George Coughran/Caughran, soldier of the revoultionary war, who was living in "Bedford City" at the time of his enlistment in the VA line. I know almost nothing about him, except that he turns up in Livingston Co., KY for the (reconstructed) 1800 KY census, resides in Illinois for a while, and then moves on to Old Hot Spring Co., Arkansas Territory by at least 1834. It was in AR that he applied for his revolutionary war pension on May 3, 1838 and then again on Oct. 7, 1853. He was 91 at that time and living alone. Thanks, Bob Foster
