Hi listreaders! I'm new to the list. Am searching for information on the Evans/Clark line. Sarah Jane Evans, b Lynchburg, VA 11/17/1830 (d 8/21/1901 unknown location) married Joseph Seldon Clark b Bedford County VA 2/28/1820 d 5/23/1877, on September 17, 1856 unknown location. I have not been above to find any marriage proof. I believe Sarah's father was Robert and mother Delila (Starks) as listed in the 1850 census of Amherst County. Joseph's father is believed to be Ira E Clark, wife Nancy S. Ray married September 07, 1815 Bedford, VA. Does anyone have any information or leads on these folks. Sarah was my GGG Grandmother and I have her family bible, but it only starts with her and Joseph. Any information will be greatly appreciated. I more than willing to share.
