Does anyone know if this book can be copied from the internet? I would appreciate any help I can get along this line. Thank You, Tommy Markham rkham

Hi Cuzins! Been a while since I posted. Just wanted to let the new subscribers know about "our" Burnett/e web site. There are 19 pages of Burnett records that I have created there and so far 37 Burnett web sites created by other people. Come visit them all if you will. Web site address is listed below my name here. Then just click on BURNETT. If you haven't been there in a while, please stop by. Take the time to visit the rest of my web site too if you will. A LOT more there than just genealogy. See my "Bos'n Mates - You need a Smile Page." It's funny and can be viewed by all. A great page to look at when you need a genealogy break. Hi Kathie, Tell your Mom, Happy Belated Birthday. 97th That is great. My mom lived to 94years. 1904 to 1996. Your connection to the Bondurants...is it on your Mom's side or your Dad's side? You asked me: When was your Lucy Bondurant born? One source states: 1775, Bedford Co., VA. another states June 1795 (which has to be wrong.she was married 10 Sept. 1795 in Bedford Co., VA.) and the other question you asked of me was where did she get married. which is now answered. Malinda E. SCOTT b. abt 1822, was the daughter of John SCOTT b. abt 1796 and Lucy BuNDURANT (my relatives have BONDURANT) b. abt 1780 they were married 10 September 1795. Littleberry Bunderant, Surety with consent of Joel Bondurant. Notice the spellings. They were married in Bedford County, Virginia. I think John SCOTT was born in England. Information I have on Jasper (Jesse) Bondurant, b. ??? m. 22 Sept 1825 Consent of Eleanor Merrymond, grandmother of Martha Gibbs, b. abt 1797. Their daughter, Sarah Elizabeth Bondurant, b. abt 1832 and died 7 Oct 1892. m. Thomas White. "Was there a Quaker Meeting House at Goose Creek in Bedford, VA? If so, does anyone have information or know where it might be obtained? My great, great grandmother, June Eidson Patterson, who married Charles C. Patterson was buried at Goose Creek. I have reason to believe she was a Quaker. Jane was born in 1778 and died ca 1872. The marriage of Jane's daughter, Elizabeth Jane 1827 ca 1900 to Silas Fuqua Bondurant 1825 ca 1900 was included in the Quaker Encyclopedia by Hinshaw. Any information on my ancestors or the Quaker Meeting House will be greatly appreciated. I am trying so hard to find the parents of Silas Fuqua Bondurant and thought this might give me a clue. It is my understanding that Russell Parish was part the established religion of the day, meaning Anglican Church, the official religion of the British. I, too, have ancestors who were affilated with Russell Parish, but sadly, none of the official records survive. You may get hints or clues about an ancestor's dealing with Russell Parish in the county court orders (such as orphans being bound out), but the actual lists are no longer extant. Bob in VA
I think Russel Parish is Church of England. I also think the Bedford Museum in the City of Bedford could help. They looked up my surname for me. Those folks at the museum are very helpful!!
