Ever searching for information on James abt. 1715-1793, Elijah about 1742 to 23 Oct 1820, Jesse abt. 1780 to 29 Sep 1851, and James Hardin TURNER 18 Jan 1803 to 7 Mar 1859. Jesse marries Magdelene WILLIAMSON (daughter of Henry)in 1802. James Hardin marries Matilda Fern BAKER (daughter of Basil/Bazil) in 1824. Jesse and James families move to Bartholomew, IN in about 1827 and then to Crawford, IN by 1840. Richard may be the father of the elder James. Shelia, I'm new to the list. Is Permelia Catherine CARTER b 18 Dec 1802 Campbell Co, VA, d 16 Nov 1883 Campbell Co, VA, and m Edmund MARSH 1 Mar 1824 in Bedford Co, part of your Carter line? Permelia is, according to an internet cousin, somehow related to a "King" Carter. Edmund and Permelia's marriage record is in the Hinshaw VA book, so I assume they were Quakers. Hope you can help me. Sorry, I just now noticed that Flayle Payne and Betty Pollard were married in 1790, so it must be a different one. Could not be John Payne's parents if he was born about 1726, as you say. I have been researching the Pollard Family, and I have that Flayle/Flaile/Floyd Payne m. Betty Pollard, dtr of Francis Pollard and Betty Phelps. Do you have more info on Flayle and Betty? Hello list I am searching for information on Curtis Sanford Kent and Helen Naomi Mculty. The were married February 17, 1917 in Cattlesburg, Ky. and had the following children Helen, Judy, Jane, William and Robert. Curtis Kent was born January 30, 1895 in Mason County, WVA and died in 1962 in Huntington, WVA. He was in the Airforce during WW I (156 Aero. Squadron) from December 14, 1917 to December 17, 1918 having served in Europe. His father was Oscar A. Kent and mother Flora E. Kent. Helen N. Kent was born June 22, 1893 and died in _____.
