I also know he after Mary Ann Haynes Buford died Aug 1, 1852 he married Lethia Ann Hardesty Dec 12 1854 in Washington Co, KY I don't know Demarquis parents, where he as born (some say Bedford Co approx 1820) or where/when he and Lethia Ann died. 2. I am going to post my "brick wall" lady--Elizabeth MOORE b c 1786 in Albemarle Co. (May be a part that changed to Bedford). Anyway, they lived somewhere in Bedford called "Cherry Mount" in the 1860's. They considered it the most beautiful place around. But the summers had been very dry and parched their garden very badly so they didn't know if they would have enough food to last the winter. They had come down from Pocahontas Co. She had a son James Madison Moore b 1819 and a daughter Caroline Yancy Moore b 1820. James had a son George who m Fannie Meador. They moved away but came back for burial in Longwood Cemetery. Thanks for any help, Doris Snyder

    3. Rebecca, sorry I couldn't find anything more on target. The dates and activities below suggest a Boyce Eidson was living in Bedford "doing adult things" as early as 1787. So he can't be the man you're looking for. I didn't see any others so far. From Bedford Co. Will Bk 1, p. 6, Ann Chilton made a brief abstract (in 1988) of the will of Gross Scruggs dated July 12, 1787, and among the witnesses to that will was a BOYCE EIDSON. In Marriage Bonds of Bedford Co. by Dennis & Smith, p. 21, there is the Bedford bond for EDWARD EIDSON and ELIZABETH EIDSON, March 12, 1800. WILLIAM EIDSON,surety. consent of BOYCE EIDSON, father of ELIZABETH. Not knowing the age of the BOYCE EIDSON above, we might wonder if he had a son named Boyce by 1800. >From other sources at home I found some information that sort of suggested a HENRY EIDSON had been the earliest of the name in Bedford from around 1760 Bill Hunt ----- Original Message ----- From: "Rebecca Lolley Goff" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, October 02, 2006 4:31 PM Subject: [VABEDFOR] EIDSON > Does anyone have information on Shelton Eidson born 1753 in Bedford County > died Morgan Co.
