Paul Ellis passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 24. My condolences to his family. He was the son of Tabitha Musgrove, married to James L. Ellis. I have two Tabitha Musgroves in my family tree database, but neither married to an Ellis. I'm sure his mother was related somehow. Do any of you Musgrove researchers have any information on this Musgrove? Drema http://genealogy.drema.com

Hi again, don't really remember the "Tea Room" but most of my fondest memories of my high school and college summers are of the lake. Used to drive down from Vinton (where I grew up) almost every day - It was such a great place and so much fun - Years later we would still go on the weekends. How I wish we still had somewhere like that - So much more relaxing than Smith Mt. Have a great vacation! Suzie
I don't think this is the same Bob Overstreet she is speaking of. Thanks Don (I used to work on Autodesk MapGuide when I was at Autodesk. Helped to create that product!). But all in all, I think this is a better way to point the way to the Millstone Tearoom: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=9058+Big+Island+Highway,+Bedford,+VA+24523-5271&ie=UTF8&z=11&ll=37.448697,-79.452438&spn=0.267656,0.740891&t=h&om=1&iwloc=A Think I might stop there next time I'm in the area! Hey Bernard, I can't tell you how, but I got your web site some way yesterday and load on and enjoyed everything I saw. I'm going to be in Roanoke for several days, starting Saturday and I've made reservation for Saturday evening. If possible, I'd like to meet you or and the owner. Everyone there has been so nice. I lived in Roanoke for over 40 years and I'd never heard of the Milestone Tea Room. I know that there was a Genealogical Fair there a couple of months ago and everyone that was come to it from out of town want to know where to stay and where to eat and I don't remember hearing your at that time. If your restaurant meets with my likings, next year the people will know about you. Please don't disappoint me.
