I'm looking for information on Caleb Burton. He was the grandson of John Burton of Cobbs, Chesterfield Co. He was in Augusta Co. in 1757 and in the Albemarle Militia in 1758. He probably lived right along the border of these two counties. My g-g-grandfather was also named John Burton and lived in both Augusta and Rockingham Counties in the 1830-1850s. I'm wondering if I am related to Caleb. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Karen
