Deborah, I only have information on James Patton. I also had Hounshell family from Wythe County. I went on a 3 week research trip there and Pulaski, Montgomery and all the connecting counties plus Augusta County, that is beautiful country, got visit Tinkling Springs cemetery. I visited the William Preston home which sets on the collage campus and the grave yard, so much history in the area. James was the son of Henry and brother to John.
